LECTURER: “NO, they will demand for more chicken sandwich.” As not being a sandwich-type of guy, regardless it’s the world’s tastiest sandwich ever, I would never substitute a hamburger for a sandwich. Questions regarding substitutable goods nowadays are totally ridiculous, placing yourself in a mandatory situation to think like an Economist, not to think of who you are, what do you like to eat and what benefits you more. You’ll end up with a clean zero on your result sheet. NOTE: The question didn’t mention that sandwich is a substitute for hamburgers and hence I was being myself while presenting that question, not putting myself to think like an Economist. Lesson learnt! Damn, of all the substitutable goods he could find, why hamburgers & sandwiches? Labels: random

TV series are really addictive. It got me hooked up over the past week and it’s like some sort of technological-morphine. I even remember which day of the week will the torrents for each episodes be uploaded. More than 5 new series per episode per week, I’ll be a slave-to-series. Till then, get those torrents uploaded people! Labels: random

Remember the post on bibi's statement of a bridge that-looks-and-works-like-a-puppet's-mouth. It's called the Newcastle Gateshead Millenium Bridge. So here's what she told me to do. This explains it all, and I was expecting a titanic to pass by but what the heck, all that trouble folding it just for a small boat? It looks small tho. Alright then, I need some sleep now. Have a great day people.

I’ve been procrastinating to a lot of things this week, giving myself lame excuses at times. Let’s just put it this way, I’ve been a lazy bum this week and I don’t feel like doing anything. BUT I have tests coming up and revising is one of the major things that I’ve procrastinated. It’s been a week since I was supposed to revise and it’s only 0.1% progress in the making. Honestly, studying never gets any easier as u climb up that ‘ladder of success’. It’s been my 16th year of studying, both abroad and local, and to no avail, studying is a pain in the ass. 4 more years till I’m done, I think or would I further climb up the ‘ladder’? Only time will tell. Other thing that I’ve been procrastinating about is how desperate I am in need of a hair-cut. With my lame excuse every time which is, “eh ahir suda ni, krg inda sampat sungkai.” It’s barely 4pm and I’m saying that. How slow is the service? Haha. nahh it’s all about the laziness. Zizul S. if you’re reading this, can you fly in one of your hair-stylist from Europe on Friday, 3pm and drive him/her to my doorstep. That would be a great. Haha don’t take it seriously Zul, it’s been a while since I asked you for a small favour. UPDATES FROM NEWCASTLE, UK. Liyana MatNor has been going in and out of pubs lately. She’s gone wild!! Haha, getting high and drunk is a regular thing for her now. I’m not surprised. Meanwhile, I still don’t get bibi’s description of a bridge-that-looks-and-works-like-a-puppet's-mouth. I think it would be easier for you to send me a picture of it rather than explaining it to me repeatedly. I still don’t get you. Haha. UPDATES ON BRUNEIAN BLOGGER AWARDS. Congratulations to Siti for being nominated as the top 5 bloggers. Let’s all vote for Siti!! Haha more like an advertising campaign for her but it isn’t. therejects.org isn’t that bad either. Been a regular visitor to his site lately. At first I thought it was a creation by the rejects corner of MD but it’s not. I see talent in him. Labels: random

Speed traps here are very well concealed. The officer may be camouflaging behind those green fat bushes, hiding in a cardboard-box under a bridge or simply by impersonating as a durian hawker by the roadside, which never happens by the way. I almost got myself fined this morning due to the ‘invisible’ speed trap being set up somehow a kilometer away from the fine-station. So to all drivers out there, I think the speed trap season has just begun. Prison Break is back with a new season, the third season. As much as I don’t want to be a spoiler to you all, I must say that season 3 involves a lot of violence. Kids might pee in their pants watching it. Nahh I’m just kidding. I’ve completed downloading the first 2 episodes and only managed to watch the first one so far. Till then, drive safe and buckle up your seat belt always! Remember to watch out for speed traps. ![]()

Reading this article is at your own risk, I'm not responsible for the sins you commit IF you do break your fast soon after reading this. Advertisements could either be successfully delivered or rather annoying. These two outcomes are yet to be determined by the marketing section within an organization. So you bosses out there, do employ not only qualified people, but those who have skills especially in Graphic designing, trust me, they could work the magic out of nothing! Let’s take an example of a TV advert, Stadium Astro, all from the art of graphic designing, but a friend of mine commented that it’s more like the Transformers movie than an original advert. BUT, the advert was created before the movie was released! So it’s not a copy-cat matter then. Anyway, why am I talking about advertisements? Here’s the reason why. One fine afternoon, 3pm to be precise and in the month of Ramadan, Nuar was relaxing on the couch with his mum taking control over the TV remote and him being a good son like always, just sat there and tagged along watching some crappy Indonesian soap. As usual, there were TV breaks in between and it’s time for numerous-I-don’t-give-a-damn adverts being aired. Why of all the fasting times, they are showing adverts of lasinda café (inside joke) to super delicious mouth watering barbecued chicken and desserts like Cornetto ice cream at 3 in the afternoon!! Something caught his attention then. A new Wall’s Vienetta ice cream. To those of you who has no idea of what it is, let me explain. It’s a rectangular cake with wave to wave soft ice-cream flowing over chocolate flavored layers. Shit, that’s irresistible! You should’ve seen the way they advertise it, zooming the Vienetta at 80% and slicing them in slow motion!! So what he did? He went highs and lows searching for his beloved Vienetta on the same day itself but unfortunately the stores here don’t have them. I don’t think it’s already being marketed here. Why! Why in the world do you advertise Vienetta if it’s not available yet. Anyone who has Vienetta with them, care to break fast with me? To Wall’s, you guys got me real bad on that advert! If Ashton’s victims lines were “I’ve been punk’d”, Wall’s should have one too, “they’ve been ice-creamed” haha that was lame! I'm not experiencing any 'hectic' week or what-so-ever that other uni students are experiencing, hence this is what I do to kill time. How I wish my job's a 'Movie-rater' (if that's even a word) and I get paid 20% of what they're earning from the movies! Steven Spielberg, Clint Eastwood, Peter Jackson, any of you top notch movie directors reading this? BOURNE ULTIMATUM![]() Not as what I expected, at one point, I was lost in between the movies. This movie is like, if you walk away for 5 seconds, you would be like, ''shit whad-a-panned? rewind! rewind!'' Oh, the 3-stars are for the non-stop actions. I couldn't believe Matt Damon could still walk-away unhurt after multiples of car-crash incidents, which by the looks of the damage could either kill him or crush him to death! ![]() DEAD SILENCE ![]() Dead Silence is frickin scary!! It reminds me of 'chucky', except that this is not just some random doll you pick from a store. This movie is all about ventroquist dummies, the kind of dummies that gave me the chills since I was a little kid!! ohh, the ending sucks tho, meaning nobody survived? It's a BIG ''?'' being left behind. My rating: ![]() Labels: movie

A great movie with all the suspense and thrills, it's worth your time to be a couch potato for this movie! ''Every killer lives next door to someone''.. nahh not my cute neighbour! =D Why does Shia gets to get the hot chicks in all his movies recently? Lucky bastard. My conclusion for this movie: being stuck at home 24/7 is not gonna be dull and boring if you have a killer living next door to spy on! ![]() my rating: ![]() Labels: movie

Dear Mallya@cuteneighbour, I wish to apologize to you on this post for not being able to send you off to UK today, 19th September 2007. Very sorryyyy (a ka-zillion time)!!! Well, here's a list of things that i'll miss most about you: - My cute neighbour is no longer next door. - The time when you came crashing through my gate and shouting my name from the outside just to bring me out for sushi, hahaa “nuar.. nuarr, mana kauu? Keluar keluar!! Mau makan sushi?” it must’ve been tiring for you to walk a few big steps from your nini’s to my place and I salute you for that hahahh. - Going to nasi kandar with you **from 3 and now it’s down to one left for nasi kandar** - Makan murtabak at C.A, I still haven’t tasted the lambak version that you’ve been bragging about. - Creating inside jokes about the SPG’s. haha sorry boss, although you’re the leader, I still like to make fun of that association of yours! - The laughter's and screams of joy which could be heard over from your nini’s place during Raya each year, damn sudah tah yg next door ke Lumut, kamu lagi not celebrating it here!! It’s gonna be dull at my place.. - You driving your big black Nissan patrol!! (haha that was random) - Calling you cute neighbour in person! - Control macho by being super-still and not moving at all while web-caming with you. **it’s still possible tho, but lagging** MALLYA

Imagine your life, full of joy and laughter, waking up every morning looking forward to what pleasant surprises you would be expecting soon after you walk out your door, and *poof* , suddenly you found yourself stranded on an Island alone. Let’s make an assumption that there’s sufficient food supply, my point is, would you ever survive having a drastic change in your surroundings? You’re now all alone, only accompanied by eagles in the sky and some not-friendly tigers in the woods. Well, that’s the contrast that I’m applying into my life now, as it’s not as colorful as it used to be. Those good old days are now down the memory lane and luckily most of them could be found in a photo album of which is covered with dusts. Flipping through pages on each album makes me smile and sometimes even better, laugh! With a blink of an eye, I soon realized that my friends and the people I care most are now no longer a door-step away. I need to travel in an airplane now just to knock on their doors but that’s totally impossible to do it at the moment. I know it’s only a temporary separation but the sudden change in my social surroundings makes it hard for me to accept the separation. Mann, I don’t know what drove me to type this as a blog, but after sending a great friend of mine off a few hours ago and knowing that I’ll be sending more people in the following days to come, it really makes me want to voice out my thoughts here. Enough said, hence I would like to wish all my friends bound for overseas studying all the best and take good care of yourselves there. Till we meet again, merci for those great moments and I truly cherished it. p/s: lecturers, pile me up with tons of work so that i could overcome this situation easily by keeping myself busy! hehe or anyone, a UK trip for the next summer break?
