It feels different to be back home this time, part of me being happy and blessed to be finally home with my family and another part of me feeling gloomy for leaving my entire UK friends behind. 2007 has brought about a lot of memories, both happy and otherwise. The beginning of 2008 has already witnessed several memorable events that would definitely be cherished forever. My previous trip to the UK has been eventful although I wasn’t expecting any of it. I’ve been blessed to be given the opportunity to meet up with old friends and at the same time building up friendship with people I’ve never met before. Separation, although temporary, feels like forever when you have built a strong bond between you and your friends. Those moments where we jammed all night belting out songs & composing new lyrics, the crazy ice-skating moments both in London and Newcastle, the paintball game organized by Azman and myself, assisted by Liyana and Rina, thanks guys for the help. The sleepover in the attic, where I only slept when the sun’s about to rise due to the non-stop talking when the pilot’s around. Ha-ha. Then the lesson Aiman has given me about how not to get lost in London but I still get lost anyway. How could you not get lost when all the buildings looks the same? But eventually I do learn and would give myself a grade A. There’s more actually and I’ll save it for another post. Till then, home sweet home.
