This is why I was sick for the past week. All wet and cold, proceeded with a meal in a chilly room and to only shower hours later, damn it surely made me sick the following day. But it would be fun if I could bring my friends over for some wet & wild moment, maybe next time guys. Sorry to the rest who was sick unconsciously because of me =)

I need to boost up my energy for work; procrastination is the term that’s pushing me down over the past week and the end result is more work piling up with an approaching due date. FBEPS’s futsal was somehow dramatic in between, well at least there’s some entertainment. Also, Daus.D was too stubborn to listen to his peers of not to play excessively that he was badly injured in the finals, then Hirman was day dreaming in one of the matches, rolled on the ground for a distance in an attempt to save the ball & the most remembered of him being his foot got stuck in the goal post’s net. MacBlogger scored one. Faadzil didn’t score any during the finals because she was there, nervous kah? Hafiiz has this mean aggressive image in court that not even the funniest joke would make him laugh, serious ih. Amsyar scored a penalty kick, awesome! But unfortunately it wasn’t his name that was being cheered out, it turned out to be “handal abang si nuar atu. Rai Hazwani has a crush on her ex after calling him abg syg last night. Emil’s back in town too for Easter break, played for the lecturer’s team in the Dean’s cup. Last but not least, FBEPS’s are vain people no matter where they are. I’ve created this piece out of boredom on a Sunday morning & mind the sentence structure being a scrambled one. Cheers everyone.

This would be a long picture post, so keep on scrolling down. Spent my weekend at the FBEPS's teaser match along with the guys & girl. Continued on with a late night supper after that, and ended up hitting the sack at almost sunrise thanks to that someone for being a good responder to my endless bullshit. Hahahh. Credits to Soh for the pics. So here you go.

I would like to respond to “danielz” on his post of analyzing my previous blog post concerning having identical outfits. Firstly, you highlighted that our primary/secondary socialization is to be blamed. Do you personally think that everyone is brought up the same way? Primary socialization molds out to what we are now and personally speaking, I don’t think it has anything to do with wearing the same t-shirt as anyone else. Secondly, you’re trying to say that mixing of cultures is bad. I’ll disagree on that, perhaps mixing other cultures with one’s would broaden up your knowledge. It’s your own mind that’s saying “I’m embarrassed to be seen wearing the same shirt as him/her”. Thirdly, mass media manipulating the society? What’s this about? A million copies? Well dude, if you’re trying to be unique, just find a custom outfit that’ll guarantee you no one else has them. Moving on, personally speaking, I think that your tips are totally absurd. Don’t buy clothes from Jaya Hypermat? Instead go to Hua Ho, ego, etc. You’re saying that a difference in the colour does not make it distinguishable with other shirts that has the same design? That is total crap, take a closer look again, I bet they’re the same. And lastly, so you think buying your outfits overseas is the best option? Haha do note that they sometimes sell multiple copies of tshirts. Unless you’re customizing your outfit somewhere in Bond Street, that I can assure you you’ll be the only one having that outfit. No offence to you, but please do a thorough research when analyzing someone’s piece of work. And sorry if my theories are somehow non-textbook based, I don’t have any sociology background. Till then, have a great day everyone!

It was only less than a month ago that I saw one of my lecturers, Dr Zainuddin Ja’afar, or better known as Ustaz Zainuddin, walking along the faculty hallway to enter his lecture room. But now, due to his ailing condition, he has to be pushed around on a wheelchair around the faculty every time he has a lecture to attend to. That being a tearful sight, yet nothing much could be done from my part besides praying to Allah to give him the strength to recuperate from his sickness. I envy his strong passion for teaching, despite his illness, that doesn’t stop him from continuing his normal lecture days. During the previous semester, he taught me Islamic Business Ethics, a course that sounds difficult to ace through but having him as a lecturer to it, he made it easier for me and my course mates to understand what the course is all about with his never ending jokes in between lectures. That surely had brightened up the class. Hence, to all fellow course mates, let’s pray to Allah semoga Ustaz cepat sembuh.

In the society that I live in, we live by the rule that no two being should wear the same clothes in the same building, with the exception of uniforms. In the case of encountering such a situation, one would immediately divert him/herself into an alley, a shop or perhaps hiding behind a pillar just to ensure that they would not cross-path each other. If on the other hand, it’s too late to run away; both parties would walk pass by each other in awkwardness, and at a faster walking speed hoping that no one else notices the similarities between them. Any anthropologists out there who has the explanation to this? So, I think it’s best for shops out there to just sell one shirt for each design and no more than that. In that case, you won’t worry much carrying an extra shirt in your trunk every time you go out.

She slept soundly two minutes after the car accelerated, not bothering the 32 degrees heat outside and the loud music inside. Blame it all on the elegance and comfort, and not to forget the impressive sound system that it has. By she I mean Fatin, and it referring to Nissan Cefiro. Best car ever so far, and it belongs to Amsyar.

p/s. two other Cefiro owners, you know who you are, haha bah bila?

My driver buddy Mas Aryf Jawa

I brought Aryf around today just to test his driving skills and yeah, very satisfied with it. He could now be my driver & he’s willing to be paid to do it too. Awesome! Now I’ll just have to find him a military outfit so that he doesn’t look like an ordinary Indonesian driver but somehow a driver that’s also a military General. I can’t believe I drove all the way to Express earlier this afternoon just to fulfill my craving needs for its chicken and fries, leaving behind my piling work back at uni. I wanna play Pingpong tomorrow, soh! Let’s game!

Aryf and his boss on the far end, with Lim & Faadzil's reflection just outside the gerai.

Alhamdullillah, I’ve successfully conducted my interview session with Azman’s mum as part of my assignment! Thanks dude for the help! You're the best pilot ever! apakan? Today was my first time heading up to HSBC Bandar, pushing the 4th floor button and gaining more information on how the Human Resource Department operates within the organization. I’ve never interviewed a manager before, yet alone a high ranking manager in the country’s leading bank. It was always the other way round. But she’s cool, just that she couldn’t remember me well because of my trimmed hair that I look 3 years younger! Haha it was only at the end of the session she asked me “mcm familiar kau ani, was it you masa tani makan at Nandos di Newcastle?” hahahh banar tah nya Ka Rina that I look 17 now! Hehe. I’m proud of myself now for achieving something that’s unrealistic at first i.e. to interview a manager and not the other way round. Also, a big thank you to my secretary! You almost did an excellent job, you didn’t serve me coffee in the morning and I still have to do the report? It’s part of your job.. hehe =) Anyway, to whom it may concern, mind you that doesn’t mean I have a secretary to assist me on my work I can’t multitask, find something else to diss about dude. You’re saying you are better? Loser banar. By the way, Azman, you owe me a big one for you know what happened. hahahhh, I was interrogated by your mum for your naughty-ness! hahahh

I had a comical experience in one of the KFC outlets y’day evening while I was out with Amsyar.

Nuar M: “Could I have two sets of fork & spoon please?”

Cashier: “Steel?”

Nuar M: “No, spoon..”

Cashier: “Steel?”

Nuar M: “I said spoon..”

Cashier: “Yeah, steel spoon..?”

Nuar M: “ohhh, yes yes please!”

Haha that made me look like a moron next to another customer, hahah how am I supposed to know if I have to choose between Steel, Gold, Silver and Titanium spoons? No wonder Amsyar told me to get the spoons, he has this experience before kali jua. Hahahaa KFC, KFC, they’re really growing fast that they even have choices for cutleries made out of different materials.

A thought came to me in the very last minute on a Saturday morning that maybe it’s worth the trip down to KB just to check out the “50% off on all Royal Brunei Airlines destination” as I was being texted the night before by RBA themselves. Well, I would say that I was disappointed when I got there. Lesson learnt, lesson #1: do not be influenced by good promotions. By good I mean things that makes you say “banarkah ni harganya? Lakastah check mun banar” Anyway, despite the wonderful advertisement that I fell for, had a good time with the guys and girl back at the KB trip earlier today, and thanks Fatin for accompanying me all the way from KB back to Bandar. Treated them with donuts back at uni, speaking of which it’s still selling like hot cakes, so if you wish to order (applicable only in Brunei), just give me a text. And also, if you’re an observant person, what I wore today is the same as to what I wore when I went to the beach. I know it’s nothing, but some people has this disorder that they must only wear a shirt only once. What’s wrong with wearing it twice or more in a month? Hehee.

p/s: Fatin, there was an announcement on the radio about a Mug that was found abandoned on the footstairs of a guitar shop =P
