Thank you Andrew Lahde for your criticism regarding my previous post. Actually, at the time of writing that piece, I have no intention of bringing up the subject of economics at a greater depth as it was just a rhetorical article and part of what i think is the true scenario here in the ever increasing case of swine flu. Yes, bailouts are used to mobilize funds and help those companies who is at the verge of bankruptcy to stand up again and is meant for a long term plan, but lets face it, some of these bailed out companies do not even last for two years before they seek for another bailout again. Printing and injecting more reserves into the economy to help them would not work as well as it'll only increase the interest rates and at the same time brings up inflation, lucky enough the era of hyperinflation hasn't arrived yet. With more and more US citizens being unemployed, what good does inflation serve as now more and more people will suffer. In Obama's administration, what they are not telling is that in order to help the federal debt, a giant tax is aimed at the middle class. In theory, yes such accounts could offset any deficits in an economy, but if it really does work like how you mentioned, why is the government still in debt? Thus to pin-point the source, I would say that all these debts are generated from the ineffectiveness of several bailout plans that the burden has to be carried by the middle class citizens. Therefore, wouldn't the selling of the anti-viral in a few months time a way for foreign investors to buy the debts from US as was quoted by the Fed Chairman "Rates can only stay low if foreign investors keep buying our debt". Pardon me for the inadequate knowledge of economics as I am yet to learn more about it in greater depth in the following years to come. Armed with only the basics of it, this is my explanation.

The political economy of swine flu. With the plunging of the US economy in the recent months following the ineffective bailouts, they're most likely to be low on their reserves and thus this has made them to morph into an evil genius. The main aim here is of course the dollars to help stabilize the economy again. The US has created a strain of virus, transports them to Mexico and infested it into the unfortunate creature called pigs. Let the outbreak begin and when it does, they'll just wait for it to be a worldwide pandemic that'll create fear and anxiety. On the other hand, a vaccine for the swine flu is created and is yet to be released in a few months time. All other countries around the globe would be forced to purchase them once it's ready, it's not like there's any other option, and there you go, all the money flooding back into US, and the economy over there will be up and running again. It comes at a huge cost indeed just to stabilize the ailing economy. So if all my assumptions were to be true, is the H1N1 a bio-terrorism act?

Swine flu is on the rise with 11 confirmed cases. I have heard multiple negative experiences of those who were being temporary quarantined after showing high body temperatures after a flight. It took them hours to be transported to the hospital for further check-up just because of the unavailability of an ambulance. That's just ridiculous, what difference does it make if they were being transported with a car? Perhaps they'll reach the hospital even faster. On another note, I noticed that local clinics have a temperature check table stationed at the main entrance but instead of checking the temperature, all they did was repeating this every two minutes: "ada keluar negeri?, kalau ada baiktah check sini". I know it's a hassle for them to be checking everyone's temperature as they are not being paid more for that, but if JPMC could individually check each and everyone's temperature regardless if there's a long line that awaits, why can't regular clinics do that as well? After all, one might just lie that they weren't from abroad, or who knows he/she might be infected locally. I didn't mean to show any criticism in this post, it's just my two cents from observing how they handled the situation.

Definitely the summer blockbuster of the year! Having the advantage of catching the premiere show, it sure is a non stop action from the first minute till the very end, although I would love to spoil it here but I know emma would scream at me for doing that. Plus megan fox is a big jumbo bonus in this movie ;)

I find it annoying when one gets adrift with their pronunciation. Like one radio commercial where it goes "dinerRRRRR is rRRRRReady". Hahaha go easy with the 'R' lady. Goodnight everyone. Have a great weekend.

Plasters could make your already painful cut on your skin even more and more torturing when you pick the wrong brand. For example as the one above, I've a cut on my thigh which I got it from a very unusual way, but anyway I thought the plaster would help to ease the pain away from coming in contact with the fabric I was wearing, it did indeed, but when the time comes to remove the plaster, that's when the yelling comes in. It felt like I was peeling off my already cut skin as the plaster seems to love my skin a lot that it sort of got itself embedded to my skin. Even using water to remove the strong glue is useless, I feel like a movie star acting in SAW IV when peeling off the plaster from my skin. hahah.

Loving today's well ventilated cool breeze of a rainy morning. The semester results are out yesterday and I'm pretty much satisfied with mine, although a little bit more hard work would mean attaining my desired result, but yeah overall it's all good. Alhamdulillah. A big congrats to you all as well for your success. Another morning of workout and that reminds me where is my workout timetable? hmmm

"sal mama ku ajar catu.. pasal tani hidup didunia ani inda batah bah.. if tani buat baik.. sekajap saja orang ingat.. and if tani buat jahat.. selama lama nya orang ingat" - Daus M

I strongly agree to the statement above without a doubt. Good deeds are easily forgotten, you may remember the good things you have done to others but do you think that the people around you will forever in their lives remember all the good things you have done to them? They may remember it for a day or two, a month, a year, but as time goes by, are you sure they'll still remember when there are more good deeds coming to them day after day. But on the contrast, one evil word from you, forever you'll be labelled as the demon. Why is that so? What if the person have asked for forgiveness and it is time to move on? He'll still be labelled as the bad one isn't it no matter what the situation is. Always remember to be generous in saying thank you to your peers and never ever ever hurt your friends' feelings even in the slightest way, they may not show it to you that they're hurt but if you're a good friend, you'll know it yourself. Lastly, as we humans are not made to perfection, saying sorry when you know you did something wrong isn't a hard thing to do after all.

HAHA yeah right

Ever wonder why marijuana's bad for you? For Amanda Knox, 21, she's now standing trial for the murder of her roomate, Kercher, in 2007. Knox said she was under the influence of marijuana when she spoke to police about the incident and did not realize at the time that her police interview was on the record. Well, I'm not sure what was it that she said that made her as the key suspect but I'm pretty sure she wasn't mourning over her roomate's death while she's high. She was probably like "ohhhh yeahhh sexy cop, ya knowww thattt kercher, she's high when she was dead, we both spend the day smokin pot and the next thing ya knoww we're poking and slicing each other with knivess, but unfortunately she lost officer, and and then she died" Okay that was something that I've made up myself, so just ignore that line. I've seen this Kercher documentary on crime&investigation channel weeks back and I thought it was a solved case until today, where I came across the updated news about it.

Manchester United have accepted a world-record $130million (80million pounds) offer for Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid, and the deal is expected to conclude by June 30. I'm not your typical hardcore football maniac but isn't that one hell of an amount. Life is good when you could trade your skills for some wicked hard cash, but too bad it doesn't apply here.

Taken from aryf's flickr

I've embarassed myself into twisting my body, swirling it, jigging it, did samba, waltz, disco, shuffling, just so the photographer could have that shot of what was assumed to be the disco days of the 60's. You name it, I did it all. Hahahh macam banar sajaa, nadawah!!! Many thanks to the photographer, aryf, and also the co-ordinator who happens to be my childhood friend, nora, as well as the rest of the team behind the scene.

That's us, each one with our own role.

Imagine sprinkling over a pinch of salt onto an open wound. Yes, just imagine the pain and get flashbacks of memories that you might have experienced that's equivalent to that. I'm just speaking rhetorically, something that I need to get it out from my mind. Anyway, it's gonna be a very classic day tomorrow~ huhu I'll be going back in time where rollerskates were once the in thing.

I think kids of this era no longer watch sesame street like I did when I was still a kid back then. In this case, they probably find some words that they are familiar with that ends with those three letter words like above rather than knowing what the pictures are. I believe fuck and duck both have totally different drawings if a child were to answer which drawing is which. So, what kind of TV shows are polluting the mind of toddlers nowadays? Huhuhu.

The parasailing experience. Given the perfect weather condition, it is indeed a breathtaking experience. Having a magnificent bird's eye view of the sea below you, that's good enough to blow your mind away from the hectic life you face back at home. It doesn't matter if you're not a swimmer and afraid of heights, once you're up there for sure all your phobias are gone!

Up I go!

It doesn't seem that high while I was up there, but it looks high from this photo

Once in a while, they let you descend to dip your toes into the water and up back you go within seconds.

This blog has been well forgotten for a good 4 days! Let me just borrow this quote from Liyana Aqilah's blog where it quite caught my attention while I was browsing through her site, ".... Indakan udah tua, baru ingat tuhankan? Indakan udah sakit, baru ingat tuhankan? Indakan udah rasa dirikan mati, baru ingat tuhankan? Indakan udah susah, baru ingat tuhankan?..." Yes, sometimes in life, when you are too busy having fun or perhaps too busy with your work, you tend to neglect your obligations as a muslim. But only in the event of catastrophy that comes chasing after your life will you only remember God. Why?

The anticipation is over. I've finally had the opportunity to watch this movie first hand from the cinema and not from the kominis dvd, knowing that there's diminishing chances each day that the show will not be played in our local cinema. Although I have to fly across borders for the weekend, it was all worth it. The plot was let's say about 90% to what was in the book, and it's a non stop action movie. Being in there for 2hours plus seems like only an hour. That's how good it is. Overall a 5/5 rating.
