The Universal Studios, Singapore. The attractions were cleverly placed from one exit to another entrance making it convenient for visitors to jump from one theme to another. Several Universal Studios classics were lined up such as The Revenge of the Mummy - an Egyptian themed indoor roller coaster surrounded by Mummies and packed with surprising twists and turns. It'll definitely choke your ride through the dark, misty, flaming and bug-filled dungeon.

Madagascar & Jurassic Park are the other available attractions with the gigantic cargo liner ship docking at Universal Studios; the cargo liner that was used by the Madagascar buddies to escape!

The visible castle that could be seen as early as my trip from Vivo City's monorail to Sentosa was Shrek's Far Far Away Palace. It's huge and it houses a 4D - Cinema of Shrek's adventure. Having my first time sitting in a 4D Cinema, I can assure you that it's ten times better than 3D. Besides having images popping up on the 3D, the extra bit is that your chair will rock you when the scene deals with horse riding, it moves inwards and backwards, even tilts when it's showing a flying scene, bits of water will sprinkle you during a scene when Donkey sneezes or when you fall into a river, just to name a few. Technology can be awesome at times.

Themed streets like New York were also replicated at Universal Studios where replicas of iconic buildings of New York were built such as the classic broadway theatre and the classic diner place. What's best about it is that it really houses a broadway theatre and I've managed to catch up with with Monster Rock Broadway Show that combines musical and theatre. Awesome for first timers to sit in such a venue. On that street itself I had the opportunity to take pictures with actors/actresses dressed as Frankenstein, Po from Kung Fu Panda, Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chuplin, Woody the WoodPecker, Shrek and Princess Fiona, King Julius of Madagascar and many more. If you're lucky, you might even see all of them in one day.

The New York Street also houses a Studio for creating special effects in movies, and I've managed to witness how a tornado wrecked scene was made. It surely was something like sitting on the director's chair. Splashes of water, explosions, real boats hovering and splashed onto the water, a cargo ship smashing a docking yard was some of the scenes being created live. It really was a superb experience. The scene was created by Steven Spielberg, who gave a video introduction before the audience were being moved in to the studio area.

Other attractions include Sci-Fi city and the Waterworld, of which the latter creates a live show of endless splashes of water to audience sitting on the splash zone. Overall, it truly was an amazing experience, the hospitality given by the staff was superb and so was the services besides a few of the rides being closed for maintenance.

Alhamdulillah. Great news! I've been accepted by Harvard University, USA to attend one of their conferences. For now, I shall look for generous sponsors to accommodate my trip soon, well declining this offer from such a prestigious university is not an option, even if I have to beg for money hahahahhh, okay that went too far.

All my bags are packed, ready to head home. Mission accomplished! This has truly been a great visit to Singapore and for this trip itself, it's totally different from any of my regular trips here, did more sight-seeing than shopping bits. Two thumbs up!
