I've been working on a project dealing with poverty in Brunei Darussalam on a larger scale for about a week now under a consultant group contracted out by the Government. Slowly, things are getting better although major hiccups were there on the first few days of the job. Being an umbrella for about 40 peers who signed up for this job, it really is a great challenge. I see this as a challenge rather than a problem so as I would not give up rectifying the problems. Whatever the situation is, never give up in something you've signed up for. Giving up would only mean that you are not ready for what the world has to offer i.e. challenges.

The first week of the job was mostly spent on the field doing research by interviewing families whom are deemed as low income earners around the district. It was somehow similar to what I did for my project last semester but as of yesterday, I have moved to an office job dealing with data entry using the SPSS software. Basically, it's putting in all the information gathered from each questionnaire. So it's a brand new start after a rough week.

Leading a team of five for this division, I hope for the best. Things are going to be very hectic starting next week as I can foresee there'll be more than 50 questionnaires per day that we have to key in, of which one questionnaire itself takes about 45mins per person to successfully complete it!
